ABOUT
Did you know that the Autonomic Nervous System connects your brain to most of your internal organs?
Whatever diagnosis you might have or whether you have a diagnosis at all, I'm here to help you navigate all the symptoms you or a loved one may be experiencing and give you the opportunity to find relief. I'm passionate about this for many reasons:
REASON #1
All the diagnoses along the way didn't matter as much as the one that could activate a chain of events of healing.
REASON #2
Maybe no one else has told you that if you regulate your autonomic nervous system that you may also be able to regulate your digestion, sensitivities, anxieties and more.
REASON #3
Through certain practices, tools and techniques, you actually have a magnificent ability to unlock hidden energy that can be used for creating the you waiting to emerge.
I'M JESS
Over the years as I have parented my children and sought answers for their health issues, as well as my own, I allowed each unknown to steal my energy and distract from my presence.
Through it all I came to realize that the peace isn't found in the answers, it's in the presence you're committed to being in on the journey.
Be willing to show up for yourself and with your commitment you too can find peace as we take one step at a time, together.
MY STORY
I grew up believing that who I was in this world was already established and determined. My internal map was then created by how I perceived myself in the midst of everyone around me.
Slowly as life unfolded, who I was becoming no longer fit the internal map I had formed to navigate life. I felt broken, lost, stuck and ever more anxious. When my children became ill with a wide range of ever evolving symptoms, diagnosis after diagnosis, doctor after doctor, and little relief in between, my own body started shutting down.
I'm here now to share with you my road to recovery and the 4 Pillars I have created so that you can join me on the journey.
Recovery is not about perfection, it's about being on the path. Let's gooooo!
I am on a mission to support all those struggling with Inward Ease due to anxiety, rejection, unraveling faith, or health issues for yourself or those you love, including issues such as: Mast Cell or Histamine Intolerance; P.A.N.S. or P.A.N.D.A.S.; Lyme Disease; Porphyria; Digestion struggles; IBS; Fructose Intolerance; Detox Pathways; Allergies and Sensitivities; Autonomic Nervous System Dysfunction; Parasites; Adrenal Fatigue; Hiatal Hernia; Esophagitis; Energy Depletion or more.
Whatever ails you, physically and/or emotionally, I'm here to help you get regulated and re-energized! I am a parent of children who have had all the diagnosis above and some of them myself as well. It was a long journey for us to find the path toward Inward Ease and I want to simplify the quest for you and offer as much support as I can. All it takes is for one person to say, "I believe you, you're not crazy and YOU ARE NOT ALONE"...I am your person.
Experience and Training
I am a Health and Life Coach who graduated from Health Coach Institute and am a certified Virtues Project Facilitator from The Virtues Project. Sixteen years before that I earned a Multidisciplinary degree in psychology and religion which enabled me to work at a local counseling center co-running programs for parents and teens as well as visiting families in their homes. I am a Trauma-Informed Coach and completed Somatic Foundations training certified through The Centre For Healing. I have taken classes and participated in training on Mast Cell Dysfunction, Emotional Brain Training/Neuroplasticity, and Acupressure.
Learning is living to me. I have training in other irrelevant things as well that I won't bore you with but one thing I can guarantee with certainty is that this list isn't complete as I love growing, evolving and gaining perspective wherever I can and the pursuit to best support my family and clients is all the motivation I need.
"It’s crucial to understand that nervous system dysregulation is not a permanent condition. The nervous system possesses remarkable neuroplasticity, the ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life."
Maisy Bouchey
"Recovery is possible because the brain can change. Scientists call this neuroplasticity."
